Positive Experience
I attended the Tampa Bay Lightning vs Buffalo Sabres game on Sunday April 10, 2022. Purchased the ticket via Ticketmaster.
Parking near Amalie Arena can be a challenge. I parked inside the Tampa Bay Convention Center parking garage.
Fans are allowed to enter, one hour prior to game time. Due to my disability, I enter at the Accessibility entrance. Daniel (Danny), who works at the Accessibility entrance, is always very helpful, friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable about events taking place, at Amalie Arena.
My seat was on the Terrace level. Depending on which row, it can be quite cool, with the air conditioning. So, I would recommend bringing a sweater or jacket, even if it is 85 degrees outside.
The Lightning beat Buffalo 5-0!
Overall, a very positive experience! Thank you!
Game 4 Panthers at Lightning
First off, I've been coming to Amalie for Lightning games for 10 seasons, the band on Thunder Alley for game 4 was the best EVER made standing in the sweltering heat bearable. I have and issue with the Parking, I understand playoff ticket prices are increased, but the parking fees shouldn't increase. The food or beverage prices don't go up. There is no more or less available parking for playoffs vs. the regular season. It doesn't cost anymore to employ staff to monitor the parking lots. Please stop taking advantage of the fans with rising pricing fees related to parking. Other than this, I totally always enjoy Hockey games at Amalie Arena.
Tickets
I enjoyed the game! Amalie Arena is the best and their staff is top-notch. Everyone is so kind and available to answer questions. I do however have a problem with the tickets. I purchased two tickets on Saturday after receiving an email that more tickets had been released. On Sunday, I received another email that more tickets have been released and I thought let me just see. The tickets I purchased on Saturday we’re $321 cheaper on Sunday. These were actual event tickets and not resale tickets. That’s over $600 I could’ve saved had the tickets just been priced the same from the beginning.

Lightning Power
No better arena, no better team, no better experience . NHL live has no comparison especially when in a crowd of likeminded people screaming for the same team . I have been coming here when it was still the Icepalace and Lightning fans were the minority . Nowadays if you don't wear Lightning Blue YOU are the minority . Such a familyfriendly place too . Bring everyone and they will enjoy themselves thoroughly and if you get real lucky # 86 scores and the whole building erupts to Kuuuuuuuuucherov . Plus the Big Cat does some behind the back catches that turn Forward's into people of utter disbelieve .... naaaa he couldn't have naaaaaaa. Nuff said .Buy the tickets , become a for life Lightning fan . Bit cheaper prices for prime teams wouldn't be bad ;)
